SLT - School Leadership Team
Who We Are & What We DoThe SLT is primarily responsible for developing the school’s Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) and making decisions about the budget that allow the CEP to be implemented. Meetings are held twice a month and minutes are available in the Parent Resource Room. Parents may also communicate with the SLT via their mailbox in the main office. Any parent is free to attend and participate in meetings. Elections for parent members of the SLT typically occur in May. The SLTs are made up of 50% parents and 50% staff. The principal, PTA President and UFT rep (or their designees) are automatically on the team; other members are elected by their constituencies at special meetings held for that purpose.
All SLT meetings are open to anyone in the PS 11 community. Your participation is welcomed and encouraged. Meetings are held at 5:30 PM in the school library on the following dates:
September 27, 2011; October 12; November 9; December 14; January 11, 2012; February 13;
February 29; March 21; April 18; May 16; and June 13.
